Dallas Mavericks Vs Phoenix Suns Highlights

If you’re a fan of NBA basketball, you’ll be interested in these Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns highlights. The Mavericks are coming off a series win over the Utah Jazz. They held home-court advantage and won the series in six games. They now face the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

The series was very close, with three games decided by 20 points or more. Only Game 7 came down to the final possession. Both teams had great performances and impressive defensive efforts. The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic, who scored 14 points in the first quarter alone.

The Phoenix Suns have extended their winning streak against the Dallas Mavericks to 10 games. In the first game of the series, they beat the Mavericks 98-92. Devin Booker had twenty points and Luka Doncic added 28 points. P.J. Tucker scored 13 points. The Suns led 57-42 at halftime. They led by seventeen points in the third quarter.

The Mavericks started strong, and Chris Paul did not score a field goal until the Suns were down by 40 points. However, the Suns looked frantic and overwhelmed in the first half, and Suns fans booed them. Doncic, however, had a great second half and scored 20 points.

In the second quarter, the Suns outscored the Mavericks 26-20. They took their first lead of the game with 3:33 left before the half. However, in the next few minutes, Phoenix went on a 10-2 run to tie the game. After that, Devin Booker scored a two-handed baseline dunk to tie the score at forty-40. At the end of the half, the Mavericks called a timeout, which prevented the Suns from continuing their comeback.

After the Game 6 win, the Mavs will be looking for a series win over Phoenix. Chris Paul has been clutch in the past, but this time, he will be expected to be even more so. The Mavs will need him to be the glue of their offense, finding mismatches and mistakes and scoring when it counts. Phoenix is going to be on vacation before the series ends, so he must be the catalyst for their offense.

Dallas’s small lineup will give Phoenix problems and they will need to punish Ayton for that. However, Ayton has the athleticism to play inside or a little on the perimeter. The Mavericks are in a tough position without a good answer for the big-bodied center.
