Common Knowledge is a game show that is very educational, similar to the For Dummies book series. It airs on Tuesday nights at 10:00pm on the Game Show Network. The host, Joey Fatone, does not interact with the contestants much, asking how they came up with the answers. “How did you get that answer?” is a time-filler that is unnecessary. The contestants can answer about half of the questions, but that is all they can do – guess.
The show features questions that people face every day. The contestants form teams of three people, including family members, friends, or colleagues. Each team must answer multiple choice questions correctly in order to win a $10,000 bonus. The show’s cast includes Joey Fatone and Tim Puntillo, who serve as executive producers.
