Twelve Minutes Nearing “The Last Stage Of Development”

12 minutes

It’s been a long time since we had the unveiling of Twelve Minutes, a narrative title about a husband and wife stuck in a time loop. At one point, it was aiming to release last year, but as a lot of things ended up being delayed, though in the process, the voices of Hollywood talent were quite significant. We still don’t have a date yet, but it looks like the developer is heading towards the final stages.

In a blog post by developer Luis Antonio, the developer went into detail about what needs to be done. It’s actually quite informative if you’re interested in game development and worth reading, as it goes into animation and mo-cap work alongside the tools that are used for it. Although they are not there yet, it is said that once they have completed what is detailed, they will then move on to the final stage of development which includes locating and finding a window of publication. Unfortunately, no time frame is given, but they are clearly quite advanced.

12 minutes is set to release at some point this year for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. In fact, we sat down with Luis in 2019 about the game, which you can read in full here.
