Red Sox Highlights

The Boston Red Sox are currently playing in the first round of the ALDS and their latest game featured impact hitter Alex Bogaerts’ crushing 1-0 curveball off of reliever Colin Poche. The Slam came in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and came one out before the game was rained out. The big hit was a promising sign after the outfielder missed the last two games due to a back issue. He was 2-for-24 in his previous seven games.

The Red Sox have had many highs and lows over the years. They have won two division titles and a World Series. The 2013 season was their best season, winning 108 games and advancing to the World Series. In 2014, the Red Sox had their lowest point in the franchise’s history, finishing last in their division.
